What is Capability Mesh?
A capability mesh treats every tool, connector and action as searchable data, so an agent can discover and invoke the right capability at runtime instead of being hard-wired to a fixed set.
Most AI products ship a fixed, hand-picked list of tools. A capability mesh flips that: tools, connectors and actions become data that agents search over. When an agent needs to do something, it finds the right capability in the mesh and calls it — even across thousands of options.
This is what lets Velaris scale to 1000+ tools without overwhelming the model. The agent doesn't need every tool in its prompt; it retrieves the ones that fit the task, keeping runs fast, cheap and accurate.
