1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser so it can remember things between pages and visits — like the fact that you're signed in. This page lists every category we use on this website and in the Velaris application.
2. Cookies we use
We use essential cookies only — the ones the Service cannot work without. Because they are strictly necessary, they don't require a consent banner.
| Cookie | Set by | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-* (auth token pair) | Supabase | Keeps you signed in to your account | Session, refreshed while you use the site |
cf_clearance / __cf_bm | Cloudflare Turnstile | Tells humans from bots on sign-up and sign-in forms | Up to 30 minutes |
3. What we don't use
No analytics cookies, no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, no social-media pixels, and no fingerprinting. If we ever add analytics, we will use a consent banner first, update this page, and default to the most privacy-preserving option.
4. Controlling cookies
Your browser lets you view, block and delete cookies (usually under Settings → Privacy). Because everything we set is essential, blocking cookies for this site will stop sign-in from working — the public pages will still work fine. Signing out removes your session cookies.
5. Changes and contact
If the cookies we use change, this page and its "Last updated" date change with them, and material changes are announced the same way as Privacy Policy changes. Questions: hello@velabios.com.
