What is Human-in-the-Loop?
Also known as: HITL
Human-in-the-loop (HITL) is a design where an AI agent pauses for human review and approval before taking consequential or irreversible actions.
Autonomy is useful right up until an agent does something you didn't want — sends the wrong email, deletes the wrong file. Human-in-the-loop keeps a person in control of the moments that matter: the agent proposes, you approve, reject or edit, then it proceeds.
Velaris applies HITL to anything destructive or outward-facing by default. You see exactly what the agent intends to do before it happens, and nothing consequential runs without your say-so.
