Can it read scanned PDFs stored in Box?
Text-based PDFs read cleanly. Scans depend on whether Box's own text extraction has already run over the file.
Are Box Shield or Governance policies affected?
No. Velaris makes ordinary API calls, so Shield policies and Governance retention evaluate exactly as they do for any other client.
